ウイルスをはじめとするマルウェアは、それぞれ異なった挑戦をしかけ、繁殖方法が異なり、どのような被害を与えるかも千差万別です。プロマークグループのウイルスリサーチセンターでは、専任技術者が新種ウイルスの発見、それに対する対応策を確率するためにフルタイムで研究しております。

新種ウイルスを発見する度にプロマークグループのネーミング規定に基づき名前を付けています。

ウイルス名はPrefix （接頭辞）と固有名とから成り立っています。

下記に上げるPrefixが現在使われています。固有名は他のアンチウイルスベンダーが付ける名前と同じ場合もありますが、全く関連性の無い名前がつけられる事もあります。
